Not everything organic is natural. In this 8-hour credit Master Naturalist course we will learn about the most common and threatening invasive plants and insects in our Georgia home. Class begins Friday evening with dinner and getting to know your classmates,followed by an introduction to the differences between exotic, invasive, and native, and what plants and insects we should be aware of as naturalists in Georgia. Saturday we will get our hands dirty (and perhaps our muscles a little sore) as we learn hands-on about invasives from a regional specialist and work to remove invasives in the Milledgeville/Baldwin County area.
