The gardens at Lockerly Arboretum and historic Rose Hill are open to the public Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 and from 10:00-4:00 on Saturday from March 1 to November 15. Visitors can walk the trails, bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the tables near our pond, watch birds and wildlife, and take a self-guided tour of Rose Hill. Information about the history of Rose Hill and the period furnishings are provided for self-guided tours.
There is no charge to visit the gardens. Self-guided tours of Rose Hill are available at a cost of $3.00 per adult and $1.00 for children. Veterans & Friends of Lockerly may tour the house at no cost (please show a valid military ID).
We ask that all dogs be kept on a leash and that owners clean up after their pets. No animals, including service dogs, are allowed in Rose Hill.
For information about scheduled events, please check our calendar. Teachers and civic groups interested in field trip visits should contact our Director of Education, Greg Eilers, at email@example.com.
