Elegant Miscanthus Grass, or Maiden Grass, is a classic ornamental grass. It forms a tall, rounded mound of thin, variegated foliage, topped by feathery copper blooms in late summer to mid-autumn. Excellent as a privacy screen or architectural landscape element, ‘Gracillimus’ can grow to be 8 tall and 5 wide. While it prefers full sun and moist soil, this Maiden Grass tolerates a variety of conditions, including humidity. Foliage turns from silver-green to bronze as winter approaches.
